Life Oak Cliff Lions (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Village Tech Viper Squid (Duncanville, TX), 68-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Life Oak Cliff upgrades its record to 21-12 on the season. The Lions host Newman International Academy (Cedar Hill, TX) to play the Warriors in a 3A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-12. Newman International Academy lost 86-26 in their recent league bout against Madison (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Viper Squid play the Inspired Vision EAGLES (Dallas, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Village Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 4-22 season record. The EAGLES go into the bout with a 8-21 record after their 91-66 league loss to Gateway Charter Academy (Dallas, TX).
