The Pius X Thunderbolts basketball team (Lincoln, NE), was nudged 58-53 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE)

The Spartans now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Star for a A District TBD battle on Tuesday, February 14. Lincoln East will confront a Navigators team coming off a 87-49 league win over Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Navigators record now stands at 15-6.

The Thunderbolts (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers come into the A District TBD battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Fremont edged Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 72-59, in a league battle.
