Ohio High School Basketball - Madison can't hold off South

The South Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Madison Blue Streaks to 52 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a Western Reserve contest on Tuesday, February 14. South will battle a Rangers team coming off a 72-63 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 10-10.
The Blue Streaks (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers enter the Western Reserve contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Riverside nudged Chardon (Chardon, OH), 69-62, in a league contest.
