Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mars can't hold off Moon Area

February 10, 2023: Mars, PA 16046

The Moon Area Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Mars Fightin' Planets to 60 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Lebanon for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Moon Area will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-38 league win over Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-7.

The Fightin' Planets (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Beaver was nudged by North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA), 60-59, in a league contest.
