Nebraska High School Basketball - Maywood/Hayes Center routs Wauneta-Palisade

February 10, 2023: Wauneta, NE 69045

In Friday's non-league outing, the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), by a margin of 71-13.

The Wolves (22-1) will now prepare for their outing against Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Plainsmen go into the non-league outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Perkins County was trounced by Alliance (Alliance, NE), 70-46, in a non-league outing.

The Broncos now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to South Platte for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 15. Wauneta-Palisade will encounter a Blue Knights squad coming off a 71-64 non-league win over Creek Valley (Chappell, NE). The Blue Knights record now stands at 6-13.
