With the victory, Mitchell County improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Hornets play the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Quitman County will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-17 record after their 51-49 league loss to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA).
