The Navarro Vikings basketball team (Austin, TX), was nudged 45-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Travis Rebels (Austin, TX)
The Rebels now sport a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pflugerville for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Travis will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-42 league win over Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-22.
The Vikings (3-23) will now prepare for their battle against Crockett (Austin, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region III District 24 battle with a 7-24 record. In their last battle, Crockett was nudged by LBJ Austin (Austin, TX), 77-51, in a league battle.
