The Tarboro Vikings basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting North East Carolina Prep to 72 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside-Martin for a 1A Conference 2 contest on Monday, February 13. Tarboro will battle a Knights team coming off a 75-69 league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Knights record now stands at 15-9.
The (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Washington County prevailed over Bertie (Windsor, NC), 65-64, in a league contest.
