In Friday's league match, the host West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 63-15 triumph over the Piedra Vista Panthers.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 match, on Wednesday, February 15. West Mesa will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record.
