The Pieper Warriors basketball team (San Antonio, TX), dropped 77-64 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX)

The Matadors now sport a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Seguin will battle a Rangers team coming off a 56-48 league loss to Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 7-20.

The Warriors (17-15) will now prepare for their battle against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 18-13 record. In their last battle, Wagner prevailed over Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 52-51, in a league battle.
