Texas High School Basketball - Valley View can't hold off Pilot Point

The Pilot Point Bearcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Valley View Eagles to 43 in the Bearcats league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 13-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ponder for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Pilot Point will battle a Lions team coming off a 50-43 league win over Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Lions record now stands at 18-4.
The Eagles (13-20) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 18-12 record. In their last contest, Boyd was nudged by Callisburg (Gainesville, TX), 38-33, in a league contest.
