Vista Ridge Wolves (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the host Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO), 51-42 in a league battle.
The Wolves now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Doherty for a 6A Colorado Springs Metro battle on Tuesday, February 14. Vista Ridge will confront a Spartans team coming off a 54-53 league win over Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 14-7.
The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams come into the 6A Colorado Springs Metro battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, Rampart beat Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO), 56-53, in a league battle.
