The Owls go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Chireno won 82-35 in their recent league bout against Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. San Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-17 record after their 44-40 league win over Woden (Woden, TX).
