St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL), 67-65 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Monticello (Monticello, IL) to play the Sages in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Sages come into the bout with a record of 14-12. Monticello lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Tuscola will attempt to upgrade on its 21-6 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 23-3 record after their 58-47 league win over Brownstown/St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL).
