New Mexico High School Basketball - Piedra Vista can't hold off West Mesa

The West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers to 52 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 15.
The Panthers (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Sandia was nudged by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
