In Friday's non-league outing, the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), by a count of 48-37.
The Desert Warriors (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record.
The Fighting Colts now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Deming for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14.
