Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Center nudges Arkansas City

In Friday's non-league outing, the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Arkansas City Bulldogs (Arkansas City, KS), by a margin of 36-35.

The Hornets (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Eisenhower (Goddard, KS). The Tigers go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Eisenhower got by Salina Central (Salina, KS), 50-49, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Maize for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. Arkansas City will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 32-28 non-league loss to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 3-13.
