In Friday's league outing, the North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO), by a margin of 41-16.
The Miners (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO). The Cardinals go into the 3A Western Slope outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Grand Valley smashed Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO), 42-37, in a league outing.
The Skiers now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host Olathe for a 3A Western Slope outing on Saturday, February 11. Aspen will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 58-31 league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 12-5.
