The Mechanicsville Mustangs basketball team (Mechanicsville, VA), was nudged 38-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA)
The Raiders now possess a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deep Run for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Atlee will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 36-25 league win over Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-8.
The Mustangs (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Hermitage was nudged by Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA), 65-50, in a non-league battle.
