The Augusta Beavers basketball team (Augusta, WI), was overwhelmed 63-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Whitehall Norse (Whitehall, WI)
The Norse now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eleva-Strum for a Dairyland - Large battle on Thursday, February 16. Whitehall will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 57-52 league win over Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-10.
The Beavers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Glenwood City was overwhelmed by Boyceville (Boyceville, WI), 44-10, in a league battle.
