Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) and the visiting Owasso Rams (Owasso, OK), saw Bixby's basketball squad hold off Owasso by a count of 39-37.

With the victory, Bixby upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK) to play the Chieftains in a Frontier challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. Sapulpa lost 57-53 in their recent league challenge against Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK)

Next up, the Rams play the Broken Arrow Tigers (Broken Arrow, OK) in a Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Owasso will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 56-42 league win over Jenks (Jenks, OK).
