The Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI) basketball nipped the host Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), 30-25 in Friday's league test.
The Bobcats (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Bronson got by Homer (Homer, MI), 67-47, in a league test.
The Chieftains now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Watervliet for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Dowagiac will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 48-33 league win over Allegan (Allegan, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
