Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) and the visiting Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), saw Prairie View's basketball squad overcome Burlington by a tally of 42-33.

With the victory, Prairie View improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Buffalos travel to Anderson County (Garnett, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a Pioneer challenge on Friday, February 17. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-4.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 74-13 non-league win over Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS).
