Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Burnsville upgrades its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Blaze host Eagan (Eagan, MN) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Section 3 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 13-9. Eagan won 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Shakopee (Shakopee, MN)

Next up, the Lightning play the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Eastview will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 77-40 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN).
