Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Byron Eagles (Byron, MI), 58-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Chesaning upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Indians host Clio (Clio, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-11.

Next up, the Eagles play the Webberville Spartans (Webberville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Byron will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 51-27 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, MI).
