North Carolina High School Basketball - West Stanly winner over Central Academy

The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) basketball felled the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 53-40 in Friday's league test.
The Colts (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats go into the 2A/3A Conference 44 test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Anson was beaten by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 66-37, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-21 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Hills for a 2A/3A Conference 44 test on Tuesday, February 14. Central Academy will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 49-29 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-16.
