The Valley Heights Mustangs basketball team (Blue Rapids, KS), was nudged 53-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Centralia Panthers (Centralia, KS)
The Panthers now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marysville for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. Centralia will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-38 non-league loss to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-13.
The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Clifton-Clyde edged Onaga (Onaga, KS), 51-33, in a league battle.
