In Friday's league match, the visiting Cheney RVT Beavers basketball team scored a tight 31-24 triumph over the Grasso Tech Eagles.
In their next game, the Beavers meet the Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 15. Cheney RVT will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 7-10 record after their 37-33 non-league loss to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT).
With the defeat, Grasso Tech moves to 6-10 on the year. The Eagles host Platt RVT (Milford, CT) to meet the Panthers in a Connecticut Technical match on Wednesday, February 15. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-6.
