The Freeman Mavericks basketball team (Richmond, VA), dropped 36-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA)
The Wildcats now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlee for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Deep Run will battle a Raiders team coming off a 38-36 league win over Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-14.
The Mavericks (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against John Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Justices come into the Colonial battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, John Marshall prevailed over Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 66-35, in a league battle.
