The Derby Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Newton Railroaders to 17 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haysville Campus for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Derby will battle a Colts team coming off a 55-19 non-league loss to South (Salina, KS). The Colts record now stands at 0-16.

The Railroaders (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against South (Salina, KS). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, South triumphed over Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS), 55-19, in a non-league contest.
