New Mexico High School Basketball - Des Moines ripped by Springer

The Springer Red Devils basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Des Moines Demons to 38 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maxwell for a A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 11. Springer will battle a Bears team coming off a 54-29 league loss to Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Bears record now stands at 7-16.
The Demons (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans enter the A District 5 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Wagon Mound was routed by Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM), 51-13, in a league contest.
