Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI) and the host Wakefield Cardinals (Wakefield, MI), saw Dollar Bay's basketball squad hold off Wakefield by a count of 51-50.

With the victory, Dollar Bay upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Bays host Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI) to play the Nimrods in a Copper Mountain challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Nimrods come into the challenge with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers (Ewen, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Monday, February 13. Wakefield will attempt to advance on its 3-16 season record.
