The Shakopee Sabers basketball team (Shakopee, MN), was nudged 36-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN)
The Wildcats now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnsville for a AAAA Section 3 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Eagan will battle a Blaze team coming off a 57-43 league win over Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 5-15.
The Sabers (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers come into the AAAA Section 2 battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Prior Lake edged Rosemount (Rosemount, MN), 53-43, in a non-league battle.
