Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton ripped by Fort Defiance

The Fort Defiance Indians basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Staunton Storm to 20 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuarts Draft for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Fort Defiance will meet a Cougars team coming off a 41-27 league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-16.
The Storm (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators enter the Shenandoah contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Riverheads was routed by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 68-60, in a league contest.
