Westwood Wolverines (Westwood, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hopkinton Hillers (Hopkinton, MA), 40-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westwood upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Norwood (Norwood, MA) to play the Mustangs in a Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Norwood lost 48-36 in their recent league bout against Holliston (Holliston, MA)

Next up, the Hillers play the Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Hopkinton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 17-0 record after their 68-44 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MA).
