Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hudsonville Eagles (Hudsonville, MI), 59-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rockford upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Jenison (Jenison, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Jenison lost 50-34 in their recent league bout against West Ottawa (Holland, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Hudsonville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 63-44 league loss to East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI).
