Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), saw Maple River's basketball squad overcome Triton by a tally of 65-51.
With the victory, Maple River improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-13.
Next up, the Cobras confront the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Triton will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record.
