Stevens Point Panthers (Stevens Point, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI), 68-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Stevens Point upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI) to clash with the Hodags in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Hodags go into the bout with a record of 8-14. Rhinelander lost 74-27 in their recent league bout against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Wausau West Warriors (Wausau, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley bout, on Thursday, February 16. Marshfield will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Appleton West (Appleton, WI).
