Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy trounced by Montgomery County

February 10, 2023: Mt. Vernon, GA 30445

The Montgomery County Eagles routed the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers basketball team by a final score of 52-28 in Friday's league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Treutlen for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 11. Montgomery County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 67-14 non-league win over Hancock Central (Sparta, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-11.

The Buccaneers (7-16) will now prepare for their battle against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Bacon County trounced Pelham (Pelham, GA), 37-34, in a league battle.
