In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Nemaha Central Thunder basketball team scored a decisive 54-27 triumph over the Perry-Lecompton Kaws.
In their next game, the Thunder meet the Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 14. Nemaha Central will attempt to move on its 16-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 3-14 record after their 49-36 non-league loss to Baldwin (Baldwin, KS).
With the defeat, Perry-Lecompton moves to 7-10 on the year. The Kaws travel to Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to meet the Bluejays in a Big Seven match on Tuesday, February 14.
