The Nonnewaug Chiefs routed the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team by a final score of 59-22 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Chiefs face the Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 14. Nonnewaug will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Mountaineers enter the game with a 7-10 record after their 31-27 non-league win over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT).
With the defeat, Shepaug Valley moves to 7-11 on the year. The Spartans travel to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT) to face the Bears in a Berkshire game on Tuesday, February 14.
