Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) and the host St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN), witnessed Richfield's basketball squad topple St. Anthony Village by a margin of 55-47.
The Spartans (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Stars go into the AAA Section 6 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Academy of Holy Angels went down by Stillwater (Stillwater, MN), 64-55, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Robbinsdale Cooper for a AAAA Section 6 test on Monday, February 13. St. Anthony Village will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 17-4.
