Tennessee High School Basketball - St. Benedict at Auburndale can't hold off St. Agnes Academy

The St. Agnes Academy Stars basketball team scored 55 points and held the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 52 in the Stars league triumph on Friday.
The Stars now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hutchison for a Division II-AA West contest on Tuesday, February 14. St. Agnes Academy will battle a Sting team coming off a 64-26 league loss to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Sting record now stands at 5-10.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN). The Turkeys enter the Division II-AA West contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's Episcopal was nudged by St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, TN), 50-25, in a league contest.
