In Friday's league challenge, the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) ice hockey team the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), by a margin of 2-0.
The Patriots now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a State Championship Division challenge on Saturday, February 11. Pilgrim will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 8-1 league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 9-2.
The Mounties (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the State Championship Division challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Cranston West by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 11-3, in a league challenge.
