In Friday's non-league outing, the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), by a margin of 32-26.
The Colonels (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record.
The Wildcats now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Chatham for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. Dan River will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 28-23 non-league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-14.
