The Waynesboro Little Giants basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 18 in the Little Giants non-league triumph on Friday.
The Little Giants now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson Memorial for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Waynesboro will meet a Green Hornets team coming off a 37-27 non-league loss to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 15-6.
The Gladiators (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Staunton ran past Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 31-22, in a non-league contest.
