The Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) soccer bounced the visiting Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), 4-0 in Friday's league bout.
With the win, Springtown moves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Porcupines host Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX) to battle the Bullfrogs in a 4A Region 1 District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bullfrogs go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Lake Worth lost 9-0 in their recent league bout against Decatur (Decatur, TX)
In their next game, the Lions battle the Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Phoenix (Hurst, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Castleberry will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Phoenix go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 8-0 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
