Texas High School Soccer - New Waverly nudges Hargrave

New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. New Waverly will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Livingston (Livingston, TX).

The Falcons now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Anahuac for a 4A Region 3 District 18 challenge on Tuesday, February 21.
