Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Portsmouth Christian Patriots (Portsmouth, VA) and the host Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA), saw Portsmouth Christian's basketball squad hold off Broadwater Academy by a tally of 54-53.
With the victory, Portsmouth Christian improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Broadwater Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 76-32 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
