Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 53-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carolina International upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign.
